Uhm right, this may sound weird but LJ just kicked (as in defriended) one of my best friends ever (and I didn't even notice) and gave us both a heart attack.

My dad fiddled with my mobile earlier and I think it could have happened then but I'm not sure. Maybe my LJ got hacked? :/
So if you can see this but no friends only entries and I kicked you today, please let me know, okay? I had no intention to kick anyone :(

Do you have that hover menu over user icons enabled? I once accidentally defriended someone because I clicked remove friend when I was trying to click reply to a comment, and never even noticed (there is no confirmation) until my friend emailed me and was like, um WTF. Could it have been that?

I really do think that makes SO MUCH sense because there was a LJ entry open when my dad had my mobile, I just didn't know you can defriend so easily so it didn't make sense before to me but now it kind of does. I'm relieved now! Thanks a lot! (Yeah she mailed me too like OMG WHAT DID I DO WRONG? THAT'S A MISTAKE RIGHT?!)

LJ should really send us notifications of who we unfriend as well. Because I think it happens more often by mistake than we might think.
And yes, that does make a lot of sense, I've certainly nearly done that too, once or twice, and I can image on a smaller mobile screen it could happen even quicker.

I couldn't not write a mail, I mean, I stared at that mail I got from LJ for a bit and thinking "Nooo, this must be some kind of mistake!". And when I got back yesterday evening I had "chaosmaka added you as friend" in my inbox! Hooray! Obviously it took LJ a while to send that confirmation out ;)
