It’s only 8am-ish and I’m tired and I’m at work and I need to get work done before I can troll so here’s just my shallow thought for now:

Can we also just grow our own mint leaves, please?

I did that once. They almost died though, I released them into the wild (the garden).
I don't know how Gansey does it. Probably gets help from Adam. ;)

A tiger in the sheets? Or is he just afraid Adam will bite off his hand the next time he offers to pay something for him? ;)

I've been thinking about what it says in Gansey's journal about Glendower's favor:
"Whoever wakes Glendower is granted a favor (limitless?) (supernatural?)
(some sources say reciprocal/what does that mean?)"

And what could reciprocal mean? Will someone have to take Glendower's place? Who might it be? (Would it be worth it?) Will there be a quest type of thing waiting for them at the end of the search?

I kind of want it?

For starters fic about Gansey first getting to know Ronan and being around Neil, telling him about Glendower and the ley line. Surely he must've known things. How much time did Gansey spend with the Lynches? What was Ronan like back then?

And then I can't help wondering about his background. We know there are more dream thieves and the ones we learned about seem to have European ancestry (is there mythology I'm missing?). How and why did they come to Virginia?

It just seems like there's so much to explore...

Also, do you mean Niall Lynch by any chance or are we having a crossover with Neil Josten -which I do not mind AT ALL, just saying ;)

I'd be all over background Ronan fic. Whenever I think of it I think about how Gansey still knows what Ronan smelled like when he still lived in the Barns, my heart, be still.

They probably came to Virginia on the ley line? (ahem.)

Anyway, please to add the music and poetry obsession that is Niall Lynch? (so hot.)

Don't... don't make us say it. I hope no one has to take his place but I'm afraid someone has to? We all know who's going to die, right? ;___;

I'm just wondering about this:
"You will live because of Glendower. Someone else on the ley line is dying when they should not and so you will live when you should not."
Does that mean Gansey already got his favour?

To me it feels like all they've ever done was being on a quest.

Oh, I want to! But maybe after my exam?

LOL! I knew I would mess up with all the Neil/Nialls some time!
(Probably didn't help that I was reading more Foxhole Court this morning). Now, a crossover! Although Ronan meeting Andrew is something I would be a little ~~scharest~~ scared about!

Oh God, those little glimpses are killing me. Even though I also love present Ronan a lot. Just maybe a little less pain would be great?

That's what I was thinking. But did they come with Glendower? Were they there before?

Oh oh! Definitely! Those are very important aspects!

Adam was struck, as he occasionally was, by Gansey’s agelessness: an old man in a young body, or a young man in an old man’s life.

And it’s not only Adam who notices that. I think he’s closer to Glendower than we all think he is. Is he somehow Glendower or how the hell is he connected to him? Or is it just because he died on the ley line 7 years ago?

Your know, no coincidences.

I'm just wondering if that might be a scenario where he'll still be able to stay around for them. Adam's linked to Cabeswater already and so is Ronan, so maybe there is a way that Gansey takes Glendower's place, but it means they can still all keep in contact through the ley line.
(Yeah, I'm totally still desperate for a way out of that dying thing...)

I wonder about that, too. But shouldn't it be a favour you actually asked for at least?

I wonder about this as well.
Is it just part of his character? Is because he had that experience and it made him grow up faster?
It's possible there's some kind of connection to Glendower already. What also struck me was how everyone's vision centred around Gansey and probably his death, but Gansey saw Glendower.

I refuse to believe Maggie when she says he's going to die but then again I think he is. BUT, I somehow really doubt it he's gonna stay dead forever. Maybe they can get him back because of the favour or maybe he'll be like Noah, so yeah, everyone is still around when it comes to being on the ley line and in Cabeswater but I'm not sure if I'd be happy with that idea ;__________; It's too sad for my already broken heart.
(Really though, who isn't? :()

All I'm doing is being patient this year so I can wait a bit longer ;)

That's why I always try to double check cause it confuses the hell out of me sometimes.

I honestly would be kind of disappointed if it's just because he's been hunting down Glendower for so long and I don't think it is. There's just too many hints. Also there's the Camaro wheel in the lake. All this time line things are confusing me so much, lol.

Exactly! His vision is Glendower (which didn't surprise me) and everyone else just sees him dying - no coincidence, right?

Is anyone else wondering what Ronan saw in the vision he must have had when they got pushed into the tree?
Or did he have none?

Yeah, I still don't want to believe it either, BUT she keeps insisting it's gonna happen. ;____; I hope there'll be some way to keep him around and alive. It'll suck if he ends up like Noah or Aurora, but at least he won't be gone for good! Surely, she can't do that. I guess we'll have to suffer either way.

Yeah, it's definitely possible. It just seems kind of unfair since everyone basically already has a favour picked out, and then no one would get one since it's already been done. But yeah, anything could happen.

Oh, definitely! It would be a bit of a let down if there isn't a deeper meaning behind it after it's mentioned so often.

He really doesn't! Especially since he kind of played an important part in how everything is connected.

Do we even know if dream thieves are bound to the same time as everyone else? Could he have lived a lot longer than we suspect?
It would make Ronan and Gansey's connection much more than coincidence though.
