I did that once. They almost died though, I released them into the wild (the garden).
I don't know how Gansey does it. Probably gets help from Adam. ;)

Spoilery! Glendower and his favor

I've been thinking about what it says in Gansey's journal about Glendower's favor:
"Whoever wakes Glendower is granted a favor (limitless?) (supernatural?)
(some sources say reciprocal/what does that mean?)"

And what could reciprocal mean? Will someone have to take Glendower's place? Who might it be? (Would it be worth it?) Will there be a quest type of thing waiting for them at the end of the search?

Thoughts on how Gansey is connected to Glendower

Adam was struck, as he occasionally was, by Gansey’s agelessness: an old man in a young body, or a young man in an old man’s life.

And it’s not only Adam who notices that. I think he’s closer to Glendower than we all think he is. Is he somehow Glendower or how the hell is he connected to him? Or is it just because he died on the ley line 7 years ago?

Your know, no coincidences.

Do you think he'll end up playing an even bigger part than the book suggest up until now? He died when Gansey lived - what might happen to him if Gansey dies?

He's convinced he changed his future though by making the deal with Cabeswater but what does it have to do with it all?

The Dream Girl

Who is she?

When Adam meets her when Persephone shows him how to deal with his sacrifice to Cabeswater, he notices how she reminds him of Persephone herself and then she tells him the others wouldn't understand "They didn't when I came back."
Does that mean the dream girl might really be a young Persephone? What with time not being linear and all, wouldn't it be possible? She's also always described as ghostly or otherworldly.

The Camaro wheel

I find this so confusing.

It's clear that time isn't linear on the ley line so the Camaro wheel they fish out of the lake is old, while at the same time it's most likely still operating in the gang's time. Calla says HE is not alone when he abandons it.
Are we sure that he = Gansey? Could it also refer to Ronan crashing the original Camaro? He was with Kavinsky when he left the wreck behind.
All this timey-whimey stuff is giving me a headache. XD

Adam's ear

I don't think there's an actual answer to this, but I've been wondering about Adam's hearing loss.

Do you really think it is permanent or is it a case of Adam not being able to afford treatment or hearing aids?
It just strikes me as odd that he's taken to the hospital that once and then everyone just accepts it as such and never really talks about it.

(Yeah, this is probably just me constantly being mystified by the US health care system or the lack thereof.)

I kind of want it?

For starters fic about Gansey first getting to know Ronan and being around Neil, telling him about Glendower and the ley line. Surely he must've known things. How much time did Gansey spend with the Lynches? What was Ronan like back then?

And then I can't help wondering about his background. We know there are more dream thieves and the ones we learned about seem to have European ancestry (is there mythology I'm missing?). How and why did they come to Virginia?

It just seems like there's so much to explore...
